Our Story

liveinmocean is built around the coastal Los Angeles lifestyle Loren and Robert were raised in. Funnily enough, the brand origin can be traced back to L&R's time in New York, where both of them adopted a metropolitan attitude that contrasts their laidback upbringing.

The concept of duality was ever present in the lives of our founders, and serves as the premise of the brand altogether - warmly minimal, authentic and subtle, but innovative and experimental in spirit.

With her uncle in the production line of business, Loren's calling to create liveinmocean is backed by her family's 40+ years in apparel manufacturing to deliver premium garments right out of Vernon, Los Angeles.

Designed and produced in LA, liveinmocean prides itself in timeless yet adventurous closet staples, with the mission to inspire fellow creatives to pursue their dreams and honor their roots.

Nothing about liveinmocean is rushed. Our knits are made domestically, then cut, sewn, and dyed by hand in Los Angeles, slowly and deliberately. Ethical, quality production isn't an afterthought, it's the blueprint we build from.

A family affair — Loren works alongside her uncle, drawing on a lifetime he's spent in LA's garment industry, to produce liveinmocean wear with love, passion, and gratitude. From her uncle's hands to hers, decades of LA craftsmanship are stitched into every piece. This isn't just where liveinmocean is made, it's where it comes from.
